As Christians it is very important that we connect with people so we have the opportunity to share the Word and glorify God. Christ tells us to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. (Matthew 22:39)
Here are a few tips for building relationships.
- At times life can really bring us down. Offering to do what is best for others will lift them up. (Romans 15:2)
- We all need help to overcome life’s challenges. Being there and providing support to others when they are in need is showing we love them. (Ephesians 4:2)
- There will be times when we are offended by others but how we respond will determine the future of that relationship. We must be kind and forgiving. (Ephesians 4:32)
In order for us to build positive relationships, we must first have a relationship with Christ. (Matthew 22:37-38) Our relationship with Christ will help us have healthy relationships with others and make us want to tell others about the one that died for us so that we may have eternal life.
